Thursday...

            I really have mixed emotions about Thursdays. Sometimes I like them, sometimes I don't. I wish I could make up my mind. Adios! Calendars are helpful.

Ally Cat

               My cat likes to sit and blog with me sometimes. I'm presently sitting in "her chair," though I'd like to thinks it's mine. Yes, that would be my father there in the background.                Just saying, I'm in love with this painting right now. It's L'etoile by Edgar Degas if you don't know it. I was just looking for a painting to do for an art project and found this. I don't know if I'd be able to do it well (my painting isn't all that superb) but I'd sure love to try! We may have too much Degas up already though...oh well. Enjoy! Adios. Lotion is lovely.

Post Birthday Post!

              Guess who's blonde, loves cake, and now 16!! That's right, this girl! Yesterday was my 16th birthday. Sorry that I didn't get a chance to blog, I was busy parying it up. xD Well, kind of. We went and stayed at a hotel and did fun things in the city. Overall, I had a fantastic time. I think the coolest thing about birthdays is that it's just a random day in the year, like every other day really, but you can remember almost everything you've done on that day every year since you can remember things. How many days can you say that about other than some holidays? Magical. Adios! Paper is not for digesting.

Loooong Day

               I think I'm getting a sty. :( Stupid genetics giving me tendencies to get them! It probably didn't help that I was just marching around in the dust and stuff. Whatevs. Adios! Floss.

Have You Ever Noticed This?

               Who in the world actually rises off the nozzle of the whipped cream bottle in warm water? I don't think I've ever seen these instructions before! That is my cat in the background there staring at me. She's probably sitting there going, "freaky humans, taking pictures of whipped cream bottles and such." Silly Ally. Adios! Follow instructions, unless they're stupid instructions.

Why Do We Use Titles?

               Glargh, I missed another day! Golf and band are sucking away my life, and it hasn't even been a full week of school yet!! D: I thought I'd share with you the blog of an amazing artist. Saturday Afternoon Bordeom

             
               I discovered the fun of crayon art today! Just a warning, this is not the project for a perfectionist. It was hard to keep the wax from drifting into another color without leaving too thin a layer of wax. The way I did it was I hot glued all those crayons to a piece of cardboard covered in a white piece of paper (we had no canvas but that would work as well.)

               I did it in our sink to eliminate mess, though I did end up splattering the window, plant, faucet, and counter in the process. We used our hair dryer as you see there in the picture above to melt the crayons. It took me about forty minutes I believe. Try it out sometime, you'll thank me. Adios! Newspaper is your best friend. 

Oh Goodness

              My chemistry teacher this year, I kid you not, sounds just like Marcel the Shell. The first day when we were watching this video she made I sat there wondering who she sounded like. When it hit me, I seriously had to put a hand over my mouth to hide my laughter. So when you watch this, imagine a chemistry teacher voicing the shell. (: Adios! Don't judge a cover by its book.

Masks

Because it is a Thursday and I am veeeeeery busy on Thursdays, I think I may just give you this piece of advice. I you ever wish to buy a cool mask from a store such as Earthbound, do not buy the first mask on the stick or shelf. That's the one that has been on every persons face that has walked past it. Adios! Follow my advice. Do it.

Pinterest

               I'm a firm believer that Pinterest is one of the best things that has ever happened to the internet. Ever. It's just not possible to go on there and not find something completely amazing that blows your mind. Just in the few months I've been on there I've gotten so many fun recipes to try out! Ah, I need to go to bed. Adios! Get on Pinterest, do iiiiit!

Last Nigh of Freedom

               So here we are. It's ten o'clock(ish) and tomorrow morning I'll be getting up for my first day as a high school Sophomore. Yay. -_- Why is it that summer has to go by so quickly? I need to become less busy or build a time machine a la Phineas and Ferb style. Yes I watch Phineas and Ferb, it's my fall back. When all else fails check Disney channel! That's about the only decent thing on there now.

               Anywho, I probably oughta get to bed what with this whole having to get up early thing starting again. Wish me luck!! Adios. Paper is dangerous.

Goody Bye Olympics

               I'm just sitting here watching closing ceremonies wondering what in the world I'm going to watch from now on! For the past 17 days, not even exaggeration here, I think I changed the channel off the Olympics about three times when there was an event going on. And somehow I missed the rhythmic gymnastics! 

             
               How could I miss that?! Anyway, I'm really enjoying the people in the hats with the light bulbs on them. I think I might get me one of those hats when I go shopping tomorrow. ;) Adios! Don't sit too close to your TV, you'll fry your eyes out.

Procrastination

               I'm trying really hard to get this summer reading essay done right now but it's not exactly working.  I didn't get a chance to blog yesterday thanks to my sister's going to Europe party and it's rude to blog with company over. (: One of my good friends came over to hang out with me since once of the party's attendants were much older than me. She showed me this lovely video I thought I'd share with you. Adios! Puppy chow is not for puppies...usually.

Tojo Has Returned!

               The ghost of my house made an appearance again today! I got on the computer upstairs not long after I got up. I heard what I thought was my dad walking down the hallway leading from their hallway into the living room, where I was. So I waited a while to say good morning but he never came out. I didn't want to go walk in on him in his room so I went outside to check in our garage and found his car was gone. My mom and sister were at my grandparents house this morning so I was home alone.

              To the skeptics out there that will say I was hearing things, I could see my cat sitting at the mouth of the hallway and she was watching someone down there herself. I don't know what prompted this event since nothing usually happens until we work on the house. I'll post again if anything else happens, perhaps the story of all that's happened will come tomorrow. Wednesday Morning Blues

           Instead of actually writing the summer reading essay I should be working on right now, I thought I'd come on here and write something more fun. Ha ha, fun. I'm actually listening to the band Fun. right now! How ironic. But yes, this is some serious procrastination going on right here. I've  been done with my books about two weeks now yet I still haven't gotten up the nerve to write the essay yet. I think I'm party afraid that it's going to be total crap because I'm not in the school/writing essays mind set yet. Besides, I freaking hate one of the books I read so I'm not keep on going back to find supporting details in there. I really had higher hopes for 1984 (the book I hated with a fiery burning passion.) There are just so many other things I'd rather be doing!  Gah, I'm going to go attempt to write now. Oh, there's a picture of my new shoes for you. Pretty, right? Adios! Writing is best done in the middle of the night. Trust me.

               Isn't this fun? I thought it was appropriate after golf try out's today. Whether I make it or not, I know that I did well today and I'll  be fine! ;) Hope this makes yours day. Adios! Whales are majestical creatures.

Worn Out

               I'm so tired right now I'm incredibly surprised I'm even still awake. All I have to say is you need to look up Kid History on YouTube pronto and watch every single video of theirs. You'll thank me later. Adios! Beware the small crevices of your laptop for they may bear crumbs.

It's My Happy Month!

              Happy August everyone! Hope you're enjoying the Olympics and last few weeks of freedom if you're a student. Two weeks till school starts for me...yay.
